I made one of these once…and sold it! So wish I would have kept it, because I don’t think I’ll every make another one again!! I think its worth 10.00 to save my time and oh so cute!

Changed my Facebook Links

So today I deleted the link from my facebook to my etsy.  Two reasons really.  The first being that you have to have an etsy account to buy from me there.  Not that I don’t want others to love etsy like I do.  But its kind of annoying for people that don’t want to make an account.  And second, on my independent and my artfire site I pay a flat fee to have these sites, while etsy I pay percentages of sales!  So its more beneficial to me to get everyone to purchase from my independent and artfire sites.  Your more than welcome to continue to purchase from etsy if you feel more comfortable there, I do love selling there. However if you don’t have an account visit my artfire shop at www.theroyalblossom.artfire.com or my independent site at www.theroyalblossom.com to make your purchases!

Our Handmade Holiday...what do you do for the Holidays!?

This year I vowed to do alot of handmade items for family. Yes I know some people...you just can't do handmade...or at least I can't! My husbands big into hunting and if i could whip up a very cool item that says cabelas on it, i'd be the hero in our family!!! LOL but I can't, However, I can do other things that work out well for our family. I try to make what I can for the family items, and what I can't make I do trades on handmade sites like etsy. If you contact someone and they like what you make there is a good chance that you can workout a trade! That works well for our family. Also I have learned that sites such as picaboo.com you can do amazing photo books, and even though they aren't entirely home made, they come from the heart which i think is the main thing that homemade brings to gifts! what are you doing for your homemade holiday??
